Caffeine

This urine test measures caffeine metabolites to detect caffeine consumption. It may be used in clinical settings to assess caffeine intake, monitor compliance with caffeine restriction (as recommended for certain heart conditions or during pregnancy), or evaluate unexpected symptoms. Caffeine levels in urine reflect recent consumption from coffee, tea, energy drinks, and medications. This test provides objective evidence of caffeine exposure when patient history is unclear.
