Indications

E. coli P. mirabilis Klebsiella Cefadroxil is indicated for the treatment of patients with infection caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the following diseases: Urinary tract infections caused by,, andspecies. Skin and skin structure infections caused by staphylococci and/or streptococci. Streptococcus pyogenes Pharyngitis and/or tonsillitis caused by(Group A beta-hemolytic streptococci). Contraindications

When this intervention should not be used

Cefadroxil is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
