Increased Mortality in Elderly Patients with Dementia-Related Psychosis Warnings and Precautions (5.1) [see] Warnings and Precautions (5.1) [see]. Elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis treated with antipsychotic drugs are at an increased risk of death. Quetiapine extended-release tablets
Contraindications
When this intervention should not be used
Hypersensitivity to quetiapine or to any excipients in the quetiapine extended-release tablets formulation. Anaphylactic reactions have been reported in patients treated with quetiapine extended-release tablets.
